Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms govern your purchase and use of SpellBee Premium subscriptions.

1. Subscription Plans

1.1 Available Plans

• Monthly Plan: £2.99 per month
• Yearly Plan: £24.99 per year (save 30%)

Both plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

1.2 Premium Features

• Unlimited word lists
• Unlimited words per list
• Unlimited child profiles
• All practice modes and features
• Priority customer support
• Access to future premium features

2. Free Trial

New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all premium features. You may cancel during the trial without charge; to avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The free trial is available once per account.

3. Billing and Payment

Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and payment is processed through your store account. Monthly plans are billed every month and yearly plans every year on the subscription date. Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel before the renewal date, at the then-current price. If payment fails, your subscription may be suspended until you update your payment method.

4. Cancellation

To cancel your subscription:

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → SpellBee → Cancel
• Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → SpellBee → Cancel

When you cancel, you keep premium access until the end of the current billing period, you are not charged for the next period, and your account reverts to the free tier after expiration. Your data is preserved. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.

5. Refunds

All purchases are final. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies and at their sole discretion:

• iOS: Contact Apple Support for refund requests
• Android: Request a refund through the Google Play Store

6. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period, and you will be notified before your next renewal. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

7. Subscription Transfer

Subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID or Google account. To use your subscription on multiple devices, sign in with the same account.

8. Family Sharing

SpellBee subscriptions do not currently support Apple Family Sharing or Google Play Family Library. Each account requires its own subscription.

9. Promotional Offers

We may offer promotional pricing or discounts from time to time. Promotional offers are subject to specific terms, may have limited availability, cannot be combined with other offers, and may not be transferable.

10. Service Changes

We may add, modify, or remove features from the premium subscription. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription if you violate our Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, your payment method is invalid, or we discontinue the service. In case of termination for cause, no refund will be provided.

12. Data and Content

When your subscription expires or is cancelled, your data is preserved, you retain access to content within free-tier limits, content exceeding free-tier limits remains accessible but read-only, and you may export your data before cancellation.

13. Taxes

Subscription prices may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location. Taxes are calculated and collected by Apple or Google.
